Our Structure and Foundation section provides testing services for all kind of structure throughout the country using state-of-the-art, high-tech techniques.
 
 
   
   
STATNAMIC LOAD TEST
This test can be used on any pile type with minimum pile preparation. Loading is perfectly axial and relatively slow application and release of compressive forces eliminates tensile stresses, compressing the pile and the soil as a single unit. As a result, static load-displacement behavior can be obtained. Conventional static load testing methods for deep foundation are time consuming, expensive and cumbersome. Meanwhile, the dynamic load testing methods do not provide direct measurements and the dynamic response of a pile is controlled by stress waves. Statnamic testing overcome the practical difficulties of both static and dynamic load tests.

DYNAMIC LOAD TEST/PILE DRIVING ANALYSIS (PDA)

This test provides the strains and accelerations present within a pile during driving operations. Strain and acceleration data from the test can describe the pile driving stresses and compression, transferred energy and the contribution of shaft friction and toe resistance to the load bearing capacity. Driving records are immediately available to assist in optimizing foundation installation through accurate selection of final driving depth. This method can be used for prefabricated piles, cast-in-place piles, steel piles, timber piles and even composite piles.

VIBRATION MONITORING
Vibration Monitoring can be used to monitor and record vibrations caused by pile driving, traffic, machinery, explosions or other vibration sources. Vibration sensors, placed on the ground or connected to the structure, can be monitored simultaneously. Continuous recording or even triggering can be selected.

SONIC LOGGING TEST
     
This test is used to detect defects in concrete structures such as cast-in-situ piles, caissons, barrets and diaphragm walls. Uses directional sonar techniques to provide field personnel and pile designers with the profile of a shaft after drilling but prior to concrete placement. this information allows for identification of cave-ins, cross-sectional area, plumbness and shaft roughness.

 

SONIC INTEGRITY TESTING
Sonic Integrity Testing is an integrity test method for foundation piles such as bored pile and R.C. pile. It is quick and cheap method to check the continuity of installed foundation piles. The method will identify the pile toe and detect pile defects like cracks, joints defect of R.C. pile, soil incursions and diameter changes of bored pile. It can be used for any accessible piles.

WINDSOR PROBE TEST
The Windsor Probe System tests concrete strength by driving a steel shaft into the surface of concrete with a precisely governed explosive charge. The shallower the depth of probe penetration, the stronger the concrete. The system will accurately test concrete in virtually any structure, and can be used on either flat or curved surfaces.
ULTRASONIC PULSE VELOCITY (UPV)
Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) is a non destructive technique to measure the speed of sound through concrete in order to predict strength, calculate low-strain elastic modulus and to detect the presence and approximate extent of cracks, voids, decay and other damage. This technique is applicable where destructive testing is not desirable and can be applied not to only concrete but also to ceramics, stone and even timber. The main strength of this method is in finding general changes in condition such as areas of weak concrete in a generally sound structure.

FIELD DENSITY TEST (DENSOMETER)
This method is one of the non-destructive testing. It covers the determination in situ-bulk and dry density as well as the moisture content of natural or compacted fine-, medium- and coarse-grained soils by means of a nuclear gauge designed to operate on the ground surface. The standard means of measuring density and moisture content have been taken together because the gauges is normally combine with both facilities.
